Birch Cliff Real Estate

Birch Cliff, sometimes referred to as “Birch Cliff Village” is a well-known neighbourhood located in the southwest corner of Scarborough. It has Danforth Road to the North, Lake Ontario to the south and Victoria Park Avenue to the west. Birch Cliff is perched high above the Scarborough Bluffs, and many homes have year-round views of the beautiful Lake Ontario, making Birch Cliff that much more desirable.

Birch Cliff Homes

Birch Cliff homes are a mix of bungalows and original cottages mainly; ‘Birch Cliff bungalows’ is a term one may hear often to refer to the uniformity of the neighbourhood. The streetscape is filled with winding streets, mature trees and manicured lawns on wide lots. In the recent decades, Birch Cliff has been riddled with more affluent buyers that have ‘topped up’ old bungalows and transformed them into beautiful modern 2-storey homes. All the construction has been great for property value, allowing more buyers to open up to the idea of moving further east.

The Danforth Road bus connects Birch Cliff residents to the Bloor-Danforth subway line. The Danforth GO Train station situated on Main Street takes commuters to Union station in approximately ten minutes. Motorists can access downtown Toronto in fifteen minutes via Kingston Road which also connect residents to the Gardiner Expressway, Lake Shore Boulevard and the Don Valley Parkway.
