Willowdale Real Estate
Willowdale is a very well-known affluent community in North York. It is bordered between Yonge Street from Steeles Avenue down the 401, and from Bayview to Senlac Road. Willowdale has become its own cosmopolitan in Toronto filled with monster homes, luxury condominiums, high rise office towers and a plethora of places to spend your time and hard earned money.
Willowdale consists of many housing types from single-family homes to high-rise condominiums. This area is the first neighbourhood in Toronto to help coin the name Monster Homes after the 1990s with the replacement of 2-storey homes with large, luxury custom builds. With demand being very high, it is very common to see builders or homebuyers purchasing smaller homes on larger lots for a tear down to create these monster homes.
Willowdale is also well serviced by public transportation with TTC bus service running frequently and operating through all major streets in the area. Bus service along Sheppard, Finch and Bayview connects commuters to stations on the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line. Residents can also access the Bloor-Danforth subway line from the Bathurst Street bus which links to Bathurst Station.
